TATSUKI supposedly was let go because he didn't want to improve the animation quality - so this is the new direction?

Can't believe I'm saying this about KF, but this is a "post world" without..... that video is terrible. The characters being shown as silhouettes is so ironic. Got no one to draw them so they're fading from existence and the overall quality of the video was terrible.

How fans are tearing them a new one in that comment section.

Unless you've got a source for it that I somehow missed, Tatsuki was not let go because he didn't want to improve the animation quality.

Video won't play for some reason...
It seems that the Christmas spirit from the video still wasn't enough to settle fans' sheer disappointment that was felt from Kadokawa's firing of Tatsuki, so the video was removed probably for that reason (as well as being poorly made).
