I'm really pumped up towards watching I Choose You in theaters! Smile

However, the singing of the remixed Gotta Catch Em' All is a bit on the weak side...
Hopefully it'll sound a bit better when I hear the song in full at the cinema.

Is there really no Brock and Misty in this one?

...Bruh. That "new take" sounds like the cover version from an indie band trying too hard...

I would've liked to have heard a remix version or an actual new song that's a nostalgic throwback in its melody or maybe just the chorus--but this is a y i k e s.

This movie is gonna be so good if at least just for the nostalgia factor.

Maybe this version is so bad to thus encourage audience participation?

Why not use the original Japanese background score instead? Or maybe release it with English subtitles instead?

Like Digimon Adventure Tri, this release is purposely targetting people who grew up with the edited American dub, so no original song, just a remix of the dub theme. I wuldn't expect to see anything Pocket Monsters related subbed in America officially. Got to go with fansubs for that.

It's good but not as good as the original series nor The First Movie's take

The original singer was good because his voice could have passed for Ash's. This one misses that mark. Still I'm just glad the song is in here at all.

I've got to admit. The reworked version of the song isn't too bad. A little weak but still not too bad. Believe me,I've heard worse in my life. Trust me on that.

The animation is really crisp and pretty -- but it was still lacking in the epicness (though, I guess it also has to do with the music?) Hard to tell if it's my nostalgia kicking in, or this really doesn't have the same feel

Wow. The song is bad. This is coming from some who loved the original song back in the day. Couldn't love it now with all these remixes. Mezase Pokemon Master is eternal though.

Similarly, Rica Matsumoto (voice of Satoshi)

I love how my complaints about inconsistency have been working. Smile
