Also, aside from the leads that purple haired girl looked pretty badass in her brief action moment in the trailer.

This is definitely something I'll avoid. A fantasy light novel adaptation from A1-Pictures, and it has their typical meh art style to it, animation wise it doesn't look impressive either.

My problem imo, is that it just looks really really generic. Straightforward fanatsy stories are rarity today sure, but they kinda of die out for a reason. I really hope this better than it looks and sounds as we really don't need #485993 derivative of D&D campaign.
