I wish Rito had picked Lala. Considering the latter has big boobs and Rito's almost supernatural clumsiness, he often accidentally groped her. Thus, he was attacking those Titans for years.

Good to see the number of tributes but with To Love Ru being To Love Ru I was expecting thousands wanting to send in tributes to it. But I pray that they announce both a manga and anime sequel next month.

What a weird lineup; plus the anniversary was LAST year. Just imagine if Akira Hiramoto was part of it, too.

Wait. Who or what determines which series get artists tributes? Like JoJo, Dragon ball, One Piece, Naruto, Kochikame are series that deserved their tributes since they've had their impact on Jump. But TLR doesnt seem like a series that would warrant such a thing though alot of artists on the list are most likely best buds with Yabuki. It just seems odd.

To Love Ru was a guilty pleasure for MANY people and really left a staple in the Harem and Ecchi genres. It wasn't vedy good in my opinion plot wise but it's still a timeless piece. I'm sure all the series you mentioned deserved tributes but TLR probably had this in the works for a long time. Plus, Shounen Jump has their own way of celebrating series I guess. It is odd but I wouldn't downplay TLR in that sort of way.

How many of those artists just want an excuse to draw and publish nekkid girl pics?

And you thought the To-Love-Ru girls were curvy before? Here comes Oda...

I’m quite fond of this franchise and I have to agree with your description here and say that this list is fantastic. I can’t believe that these people would even acknowledge To Love-Ru’s existence let alone do tribute illustrations for it. But they are, and boy, I’m really curious as to how their drawings will look. Man, this is quite the occurrence that brings warm feelings to my heart. Very Happy (Hoping for a new anime season as well)

I'm quite interested in Rumiko Takahashi's tribute illustration of To Love-Ru. Smile
Perhaps InuYasha might to contend with the appearance of the Deviluke Sisters for a bit...

Or also perhaps Urusei Yatsura characters might make their appearances as well since the original To Love Ru series has a lot of similarities to that one Smile

Wow, that's quite the selection. I hope I can see the variety this collection holds at some point
