Congrats to Conan on joining the 1000 chapter club. That's something not easy to accomplish, but since the ending is nowhere in sight, it was pretty easy.
One Piece shall be joining you in the future. |

The first chapter came out in 1994, not 1996. The anime, however, started in 1996.

Drat. The manga first came out when I was still in middle school y'know.
This series has gone on for far too long already! People have been dying to see Ran and Shinichi finally together dammit! (if I word it like this, I guess it'll make the series sound more like a love comedy.) |

Kind of crazy to think this manga started 9 months before I was born... and here I am keeping up with it.
Congratulations on 1000 chapters!! Even after this long both the anime and manga remain among my favorites. |

I stopped reading this a long time ago (closing in on 10 years now) because it just wouldn't leave the status quo, but I promised myself I would re-read it if it ever reached 1000 chapters. Guess I'm in for some binge-reading then.
