Having more than one season or cours isn't necessarily connected to how well it is doing. For something like this, it would have been planned from the beginning to go for two cours. That being said, even as someone watching the show, I'm surprised it is two cours. -------------------- On another note, Konatsu looks like she would be voiced by Rie Kugimiya. |

It's ok. It's cute, it's sweet, it has a lot of weird supernatural birds in it. I don't like it as much as I liked the Morose Mononokean, but it's only half-way through it's first cour. I think it could welcome a more serialized story and more characters with greater depth, and I hope its light novel origin means it has more long form storytelling and less episodic shorts.

I like (mostly) feel good combinations of supernatural and slice of life, and for me this show is a pleasant way to pass 24 minutes. It's a bit like Book of Friends meets Kawaii Complex Guide though I felt more strongly about those shows.
