I would have voted for the 1st movie or at least one of the 1st 3 depending on how I'm feeling. Guess people liked seeing Satoshi get spoiler[kissed]. Haven't fully watched a PM movie since that Shaymin movie in English (Didn't really fully watch it tho).

I see you put "Joy." Good job.

Good choice! spoiler[This is one of the only Pokemon films to kill a character. I bet the Lucario one was up there too.]

I must admit I am shocked with this choice. While the movie wasn't bad, it was average at most in my opinion and even worse than that in 4Kids version.
My choice would be the Darkrai movie, because it's the only movie of those I saw (I must admit I have yet to see the Kyurem and Volcanion movies), where Ash is not the sole hero to save the day, and also because Darkrai is my favourite legendary Pokémon.

"Lucario and the mystery of mew" will always be my favorite, my least favorite being "Giratina and the sky warrior".

I wonder where Pokemon 2000 & Lucario and the Mystery of Mew ended up on that list. Those two are my favorites and the only two I actually own.

One of least-selling Pokémon movies is the top favorite one. Okay...?

I know the Lucario movie is one of the most popular, but it's one of my least popular, along with the Ranger movie, because they glorified Ash way too much and portrayed him as hero for no particular reason. Though the Ranger movie, IMO, was even worst in this, spoiler[because it was supposed to be about May and Manaphy, but in the end, Ash stole May's last chance to shine in movie to once again be a hero he didn't deserved to be]. Movie 2000 doesn't belong to my favourite either, because it pushed Palletshipping way too much. spoiler[And, quite honestly, Melody and Misty's bickering was so annoying to me.]

Of all the movies I've seen, the first movie is easily the best because Mewtwo was the only legendary that was given a personality, clear motivation in both US and JP versions despite the differences, and it carried the entire movie on it's own. Every other legendary was merely a giant spectacle and not much else. And it's the only movie that had actual bullocks and went into edgy territory (by Pokemon standards at least) before the franchise became international and had to tone itself down to meet international Mrs. Lovejoy pansycore children's broadcasting standards. "We can't show Misty slap Ash! That's too disturbing!!"

The First Movie is to Pokemon what Transformers the Movie is to G1.

I never would have expected that. Out of the original series films, it's my least favourite. (That said, it's not a bad movie. Several of the later films are much worse, the Diancie one made me quit the Pokémon anime altogether.)

I'd pick Spell of the Unown as my favourite. If forced to pick one not written by Takeshi Shudo, then it'd be Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.

Pokemon Heroes (5th movie), Destiny Deoxys (7th movie), and Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (8th movie) are my favorite Pokemon movies.

The others that are okay are:

Pokemon 2000 (2nd movie)
Celebi: Voice of the Forest (4th movie)
Jirachi Wish Maker (6th movie)
Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea (9th movie)
The Rise of Darkrai (10th movie)
Zoroark: Master of Illusions (13th movie)

Funny that since Black/White movie, things are starting to get boring story-wise. :/
