I love Kōhei and his work, I'm wishing him the best. I've been really worried since he had to be taken to the hospital in March due to his health, so I hope he's able to get all of the needed rest and help possible to improve his health. An author's health and safety should be the priority above all else.

Same time as Hajime no Ippo's Morikawa having to take a break because of illness. Hopefully there's not something going around in those publishing offices.

The mysterious illness strikes back? Bullshit, dude's just overworked, that's why the latest chapters are such a trash, if he needs a break why not to take just a month off? That would help him recover, because I doubt that by just taking a week off it's gonna change much.

My thoughts too, I mean, when your rest time caused of illness is even scheduled, and for one week.

The grim effects of overwork are becoming evident. Here's hoping Mr. Horikoshi-san will take as long of a break he needs to get well...

There is, it's called "Overworked Mangaka Syndrome".

Yet another example of an industry that works people to the bone and expects more and more and make unreasonable demands and give unreasonable deadlines.
Great work ethic, Japan.
