Not surprised he needs some rest and treatment, he sure does push his voice to the limits in many of his roles.
Needs to land more characters like Ota from Tanaka-kun wa itsumo kedaruge lol ^^
smooth sailing.

Nothing from Tsukiuta. yet... (they're releasing their rhythm game in June)
Anstars fans are freaking out on twitter. tbh if I played anstars, I'd probably stop without him.
I hope he recovers well. He's the only voice actor that I'd watch a show just for him. That's actually how I found two of my favorites. His tiny part in Valvrave is still one of my favorite characters ever.

Likelihood that they'll make more AoT soon enough to be recording it by the end of the year?

I'm really sad that he'll be replaced in Enstars...but it's somewhat to be expected. He can probably still do regular voicing of characters, but singing most likely puts more pressure to his throat. (So, it is possible he may be replaced in Tsukiuta...)
From what it looks like on the enstars post in-game, his replacement for Hokuto has been in talks for about a year it seems.
Again, I am sad...but I'm a fan of Maeno as well...and I wish Hosoyan a speedy recovery.

I wanna say AoT will be fine since it's only supposed to be one season long. But I don't know how long it can take. It's BnHA I'm worried about.

Well, that explains it, then. I'm surprised that the recording for StarMyu 2 has already finished, but since that's pretty much the only current show with Hosoya in it that I'm watching I'm happy that I can hear him to the end.
(Why Maeno Tomoaki, though? Umehara Youichirou sounds a lot more similar to Hosoyan, and he can sing as well.)
For other anime where he plays less important characters I imagine they can just record his lines ahead - at least that's what happens with dubbing, when an actor plans to be unavailable for a certain amount of time. They just get the translator to translate their lines ahead so they can record them separately. I guess it's a bit more complicated with a show which is currently being produced, but with less important characters it may be doable.

Where did you hear this?
I'm not really a Hokke fan and I don't listen to Trickstar so Hosoyan not being in enstars isn't a super big deal for personally but it makes me sad as a fan of Hosoyan in general, and I feel sorry for those who like Hokke. I'm sad that it seems the replacement for Hokke will be permanent.

It was in the announcement that was made in-game. It seems that the replacement for Hokuto has been in the works since sometime last year. It is a permanent replacement, and all of Hokke's in-game voices will change to Maeno's come May 31st.

Ahh, okay, I couldn't really understand enough of the news they released to grasp the "been in the works" thing. That's kind of weird; I wonder why it has been planned for so long? Had Hosoyan been planning on quitting Enstars anyway or something?
