Back when I was younger I watched the anime. I was kinda indifferent due to how the plot tried to do adult themes with censorship like the Fate series but then the lack of ending killed me.

Interesting.
I thought Matsumoto had said he didn't want anyone else to do manga based on his characters. There was an interview I read where he stated that he'd been approached a few times to do so, but he'd always rejected them because they were his characters and he felt he was the only one who could do them justice. Obviously something has changed.
I wonder if Yuzuru Shimazaki is just adapting/fleshing-out a story Matsumoto had already planned.

I wonder if it's have all the rape, extreme xenophobic racism, horse and dog rape of the original. All in the name of comedy of course.

Don't forget to add that Discotek rescued the anime recently.

Well, this is interesting. I don't how Mr. Matsumoto would feel about it. It's interesting to see one of this guy's manga that was set in America. Although, how this guy feels about this country,it's really hard to know.
