I love that suit design. The dashes of pink on black are fantastic. The shoulder/upper arm area being bare also break up the design nicely.

While maybe still a little cheesy, seems it'll be a less so than the original movie, while attempting a little grit. Either way, looks like fun to me!

I LOVED that version of Cutie Honey.I'm baffled it was never licensed,despite Anno's name and the team who would later make Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill |

Basically this. Also I find this "Cutie Honey"s personality is completely different from the previous anime's I have watched. Nowhere as Ecchi and free-wheeling. This may actually be a watchable movie (I'm not holding my breath), but they basically slapped the Cutie Honey on a totally different storyline. |

He wasn't involved with Cutie Honey: The Live yet they kept Honey similar to his version of the character so this is a bit of a welcome change.
Toei's gotta Toei, they have always been difficult to work with plus FUNi had their chance when they were removing fansubs of the show years ago so who knows what happened there. |

Man how many Cutey Honey re-imaginings are they going to come up with?
I would prefer an actual series that has a beginning, middle and an end. Thing is Go Nagai and Ishikawa never finished the series. So bits and parts of the story end up in all his other works. The "white" scenery gave me an 'Ultraviolet' feel. And I've never seen that movie before. If they ever streamed it I'd take a look at it to see what they did. I guess they're going for the more modern technical A.I deal. Now can SOMEBODY PLEASE RELEASE RE:CUTIE HONEY???? |

I like the more gritter look, i'm more likely watch this than previous film since its bit too childish for me.
