If it wasn't an anime contest but a video game contest, I would place in the top 5.

I may have to get some of my junk out and take a picture~. My room itself is disastrous and would never be acceptable for this, but a picture of as much of my stuff I can amass into the frame may work.

Uck! I do not have an impressive anime or manga collection, but I quite have a collection of video games. We need something for video games too...!

Is the contest open to Canadians?? I don't want to bother getting all my junk together if I don't need to but if there is any possibility that I could win... hehe that would mean a world of difference... and a lot of work too.
ok never mind... found out the answer to my question... Man that really sucks... I wanted to play too

Yeah. Two photos are rather tough. I could only get maybe half my room with that
Plus I mix my otaku geekiness across various interests, from US comics to Japanese comics and animation to video games to science like marine biology or Leonardo DaVinci.
'Otaku' is not limited to anime and manga. I'm so damn sick of marketing twisting that term to that. There are train otaku, baseball otaku, military otaku, camera otaku, and pretty much anything else that has enthusiasts. When I was on vacation in Japan, a Japanese friend of a friend asked me if I was a camera otaku to due the larger camera I bought with me.

Does it actually say anime and manga collections only? All I'm seeing is that they want you take pictures of your otaku collection, the examples given show much more than just anime and manga. Good thing my camera has a panorama function, I'm going to try taking one shot of my anime/video game shelves and one of my toy collection... after I clean up around here, good thing I'm starting vacation Monday.
