Looks like a solid lineup so far and they're not even half way done yet
Expecting Food Wars Season 2, Rewrite, etc coming soon.

i may just cancel or delay renewing my funimation sub (its over like first of July).. crunchyroll is streaming the animes that i wanted to watch this summer. I would be curious to see if funi goes after d grayman hollow, as it wasn't a big seller. otherwise, most of what i kind of expect them to get are continuations of previously released series.

CRUNCHYROLL aint playing no games, im so happy right know they just picked up 5 of the anime that i wanted to watch this season(extremely glad they got mob psycho 100). All i need now is for 3 more anime to get simulcasted(doesn't have to be cruuncyroll can be sentai ,funimarion or aniplex) and this seasons gonna be cake as far as streaming goes(for me at least).

Crunchyroll now has all of the shows that I really want to watch this season; there are only a few others that I'm kind of interested in. And who knows, CR might get those too. Funimation seems kind of off its game these last few seasons. Can this still be attributed to the cost of picking up MHA, or is there something else going on?

Indeed. I'm psyched for 91 Days, Orange, and Taboo Tattoo so far. I've gotta keep a weather eye out for their other new streams.

Did they announce the regions for the shows? If they got them for Latin America I might finally consider getting a subscription, but only if they get Cheer Danshi and DAYS. These were strong announcements, I'm rather excited about Mob Psycho, 91 Days and Orange, hopefully they won't disappoint. I'm also very pleased to see CR taking more Bones licenses, they're my favorite studio and it was quite disheartening to see all their stuff go to Funi

Hope we can have all this shows in latin America.
Crunchyroll is steady growing and featuring most of the best shows each season. Since funimation dont care about the rest of the Americas, all power to crunchyroll.

Only the shows themselves were announced. Regions and simulcast times will be announced later.
Last season their early announcements had the broadest regions, so hopefully that also holds true for this season.

FUNi has been off for just last season and now this one. Its a combination of factors.
1. They are the master licensor for MHA so that likely does have something to do with it (could not have been cheap), and picking up the licenses to the Rurouni Kenshin live action trilogy had to be pricey too.
2. A lot of companies simply will not negotiate with FUNi anymore. Aniplex, Pony Canyon, and Kadokawa will not work with them anymore, the former two keep their programming to themselves and publish on CR, and the latter signed an exclusivity deal with CR that went into effect last season. Plus, noitaminA is no longer up for open bid as Amazon Prime gets automatic first stream rights to those shows.
This makes the pickings fairly slim considering how dominant Aniplex, Pony Canyon, and Kadokawa are in the industry. FUNi basically is stuck with whatever is left over.
Crunchyroll's lack of support for English dubbing (Free! Season One felt more dutiful than something they would have naturally done) makes this rather worrisome as it may relegate anime back to being a niche product when its been starting to get mainstream again in recent years. Tho Sentai often gets CR shows and dubs them.
