Mhmm... It's hard to think that the scandal wasn't the reason the show was axed. But as far as I'm concerned, I still hope for her to recover despite me not being a Love Live fan.

Ohh, man... Just when I thought that that adult video incident was blown over...
It seems that Emitsun is in a serious predicament at the moment... Here's hoping she'll come back stronger from this media circus.

Was it? AFAICS in online discussions (2ch threads, seiup, etc.), pretty much everybody accepts the evidence is too strong (matching moles in collarbone, chin, neck, arm and elbow, same ear shape, matching teeth, same voice and diction). The video was #1 on DMM, and by now hundreds of thousands have seen it... It's "formally" not her as long as she denies it, but given the audience Love Live! targets, the mere suspicion means her career is over...

Why would u believe "online discussions" anyways? Many people can alter stuff and there is such things as "look alikes" in the AV industry so even if u match everything down to a cell on her body there is no hardcore evidence because it's online. And your comment proved my point and her career as a LoveLive idol was already completed after the final live concert anyways. Sure she had a solo career but i hardly doubt this will continue for much longer. Anyways, don't believe anything forms say. Anyways, what's done is done, if they say it isn't her, then it's not. Take anything u read on those forms (unless it's from an OFFICIAL DOCUMENT) with a grain of salt.

Until concrete, definite and official proof are shown people will still doubt.
Just denying it is not enough, legal actions will be necessary to settle the case.
So far, nothing.
The fans "investigations" are flawed, Nitta's and her agency lack of communication on the matter are just adding more oil to the fire.

Most of those "pure virgin idols" had sex long time ago, anyway.

Can't the agency just tell the deranged side of the fanbase to knock it off until the case is over or someone provides the AV contract.

Yes. It was. The porn actress resembles Nitta a little, but is definitely not her. I'm disappointed by how much credence this scurrilous story still gets: there's no mystery, this is nothing but a smear. Not that there should be anything wrong about appearing in porn, but Nitta did not. Hopefully a lawsuit against Asagei will establish that.

Nonsense, she has a promising career as a singer as well as a seiyuu. As do all the Love Live seiyuu.

This news is pretty old. Like, a week old. It also neglects to mention that she's still been showing up to all the previously scheduled live events (Even if one of them had to be cut short thanks to a little assassination attempt which THANK GOD was just a hoax). Additionally, her weekly radio show is still going. Her management probably just wants her to stay off the Internet until they've determined that the situation has calmed down completely.
Unless she willingly decides to quit the industry, her career's likely not going anywhere. Two weeks later Bushiroad and agency still don't seem to have any intention of letting her go. I've also been observing the reaction on the Japanese side from the start (Which was largely sickening to say the least) and I can tell you that the scandal has definitely lost quite a bit of momentum. They're not 'adding fuel to the fire' by staying silent. If anything staying silent seems to have just confused and annoyed the trolls. They're running out of things to talk about regarding the scandal itself so they're just going to keep running around in circles until they get dizzy and eventually move on.
Then again, none of these are things we should be concerned about. Ultimately whether or not she was in the AV really shouldn't matter at this stage either. What we should be showing concern for is Emi Nitta's wellbeing. As I said, she's been fulfilling pretty much all her work commitments in spite of this. But reports from inside say that she hasn't been herself lately and that being around her is comparable to being at a funeral (Which is definitely not the Emi Nitta I know). If you listen to her newest radio episode where she talks about the Final Live, she sounds very tired and downtrodden especially in comparison to the last episodes. There was also this one picture circulating the net a few days ago where you could just see the sadness in her eyes (I wish I was being melodramatic).
Newer reports say that she's showing signs of improvement. But having her name dragged through the mud by trashy media outlets for no good reason, having to go everywhere with security guards she never needed in the past just so some nutcase doesn't try to murder her, not being able to talk to her fans through social media because of said nutcases and most importantly the death threats she's gotten from deranged fans have definitely caused some psychological damage. I would be very surprised if this doesn't lead to a lawsuit.

I don't get it? Do people think they CGIed her teeth frame by frame to get this actress to look like the idol? People can be identified by there teeth alone so the chances of 2 people looking alike and having the same teeth pattern are extremely rare (genetic twins even then that's stretching it) or almost impossible.
So I can't see how people can deny that's her in the video It's pretty clear. Even if she did an AV so what? I don't see a problem with it.

It probably has something to due with people trolling the live stream, idiots spamming stupid crap like "hey can I be with you in your next AV?" or something moronic like that.

The problem lies that the world doesn't always see an accusation and debunked as proven innocent. The same case happens with many other fields. If you are accused of doing something and it becomes public, your career could be over, even if proven innocent because people believe that it is now being covered up.
I know that teachers accused of doing inappropriate things have this happen to them here in the United States. After the fact of being proven innocent, no one will hire them because they think that a) there was truth in the accusation, b) it could be a cover up, and/or c) they do not want the drama, media coverage, and/or the school reputation damaged because of it.
Likewise, Management agency S Inc. might be in the same boat, trying to keep their image as clean as possible and they are taking the appropriate steps to ensure that.
Until the real actress in the adult film comes forward and claims it was her and not Emi Nitta, this probably will not go away. Emi Nitta might need to find a new career, as sad and unfair as it sounds.

As much as it sucks, it's the job she wanted. It's kind of weird for someone to make a porn and then decide to become an idol, a business that's really disgusting with all the purity crap. She probably hasn't broken any rules as she filmed that 2 years before her VA debut, but pathetic otaku will never let go of that.
