Don't think this is a VN but I wasn't interested in this game much at the moment since I know nothing about sonico yet but fantastic news to see Jast dub a pc game (not sure if this is a first or not) more in the future please, might have to check it out sooner then later then.

Well, that is surprising considering JAST doesn't normally include a dub. I'm kind of curious how many lines there actually are. That said, I've never been that interested in Sonico in the first place, so I don't know that it makes a lot of difference to me.
I'm pretty sure it is. I've browsed through the JAST catalogue a fair amount recently, and I don't recall seeing any with English audio. |

I appreciate why she has been cast but I could only get through the first episode thanks to the supporting cast. She just sounds too whiny and it really puts me off unfortunately.

I actually liked Jessica Nigri as Super Sonico. She wasn't great or anything, but she seems to care a lot about Sonico, so it's cool that she was given another shot at voicing her. I wonder how she'll sound here.

I understand how people have to start somewhere but, I don't understand how models can somehow manage to become actresses. Just because people think someone is attractive that doesn't mean they have the skill equal to those who have worked and trained for years to be as good as they are.

She's the least deserving woman to voice an anime character. (Just because she is Cosplayer) pff. Meanwhile real voice actors are busting their asthmas with degrees, plays..real plays...not cosplay time. Theater Theater.

We all gotta make a living somewhere, so I say she at least deserves the benefit of the doubt. I'm not going to criticize her for cosplay, that's silly. I'll criticize her for her voice work, and keep it fair judging her as I would anyone else.
She wasn't bad in RWBY. |

I thought Jessica fared greatly as Sonico, so I think she'll do very well in Sonicomi.

I guess JAST expects that adding Jessica Nigri name to this game will increase profits drastically otherwise they would just release it sub only.

... huh.
that's... ok then. the majority of the people i know shat pretty badly on the soniani dub and jessica's acting was one of the main complaints, so i'm a little puzzled as to why JAST is bringing her back. it's kind of a shame since this seemed like a good chance to get an actually fitting voice actress back in the saddle but... well, at least it's optional. seriously though. what a weird choice. |
