Again, how can you forget Sapphire-chan? I never said you forgot about the character, but that name...
To me, it's a pretty unique name. I actually do forget the name of characters, for a lot of series, but never Sapphire-chan's!

Yeah Sapphire-chan must really mad at me.
But actually, you say that it's a unique name but it's kind of generic for me. I pretty much marathoned the show in one sitting so that name went into one ear and came out the other.

Ah, okay. I had no idea that people being named after gems has become generic now. Clearly, it is something that I've rarely come across.

Probably. But now I don't think I'll forget that name again.

Quote: | Kyoto Animation announced a film, Gekijō-ban Hibike! Euphonium ~ Kitauji Kōkō Suisōraku-Bu e Yōkoso~ (Sound! Euphonium the Movie: Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band), at the KyoAni & Do Fan Days 2015 event on Saturday. The anime studio also announced that production on a sequel to the Sound! Euphonium television series has been green-lit. |
It may be too late to say this after spreading it as a fact all over the English anime communities, but it was announced at the 京都でお祭りフェスティバル~南座へようこそ~ event, which was different from the KyoAni & Do Fan Days 2015 event(They didn't announce anything at this event). Both were held in Kyoto on the same day Oct. 31, but the latter event was KyoAni general event held at the event hall called Miyakomesse and the former was the event which was only for Hibike! Euphonium held at the Minami-za, Kabuki theater. Hibike! stage event of the KyoAni & Do Fan Days 2015 event was on the next day.
