I'm glad they decided to delay it rather than release it before it was ready. That usually doesn't turn out well and Steins;Gate deserves a good sequel.

Is it really a sequel? It sounds more like a alternative version if you ask me.
Cant wait till they release it in Europe! Hope Funimation license this one as well.

It is a sequel/Alternate Timeline. the events that occur in this alternate timeline will eventually sync with the events of the first series...but it is a bit complicated to understand unless u seen the entire first series.

Better than having an incomplete game with tons of post-release patches. Ohhhh recent gaming industry...

A few (kinda off-topic) questions here, which for some reason i can not find answers to:
1. (When) Is this game coming to EU?
(Will it take as long as EU S;G ps3 version?)
2. Will the S;G movie (Fuka Ryoiki no déjà-vu) ever come to UK release?
(Why is it taking so long?)
Hopefully some of you know the answers. Thanks in advance!

For your first question....it will take a while for it to be released in the EU...at least 2 maybe 3 years. since it would need at least a year for it to get from japan to america and than another 1 to 2 years to get to the EU.
In regards to your second question u have to wait for funimation ot dub it and release it there and than it will be released in the UK. it is most likely taking so long cause they are waiting for the new series to come out and cash in for the demand of more S;G. at least that is part of the reason.

So we'll probably see the anime before EU game release?

CHAOS;CHILD and STEINS;GATE 0 become the animated cartoon.
Onoe who is the strongest genius appears for the CHAOS;CHILD, and the story is the best.

1. Chances are it'll take at least a couple of years before it gets licensed, if it ever does.
2. Probably shortly after Funimation dubs it, which may be a little while since last I heard they were waiting on the materials from Japan.

Hard to say. The premise and what little information they've released definitely has potential and the head of the project is the same as the first one, which is a good sign. We'll just have to wait and see.
