Not surprising but sad to hear.
At least we will get Harmony soon though. |

Had a feeling it would happen, and it did. Hopefully, we'll see it in the future.

Not a good week for Manglobe
If any case the film should be mostly done at this point so they can hire another studio for post production so it shouldn't take long to release it. Last edited by Black Thunder 6 on Thu Oct 01, 2015 12:49 pm; edited 1 time in total |

If it needs finishing, I hope they give it to MAPA

Hopefully all that remains is mainly just post-production touches that can be done by other studio(s).

There are some indications that apparently Manglobe was already rushing with the production at this point.

Not sure if I'd even want a 2015 release at this point. |

Add insult to injury Harmony, the last film, is already finished.

Wow, Fuji must be pissssssssed. I mean sure they can swap out the film for another but imagine changing all the advertising plans with just 1 month to go? What a giant pain, and it'll surely hurt ticket sales. This guy's works are cursed, man... |

I don't like where this is going you guys. I mean, "delayed" is usually not a good sign at all.

Sounds like the film needs more than some post-production work before it even get's a release. Might as well delay it to next year. |

I still hope this is just an early April Fools' prank by Manglobe...
But what if this movie becomes a thorough hit? Can it save Manglobe? |

Just better hope that this and the other projects can be picked up by somebody else. That's just too bad that they have to go through this and leave the fans hanging.

Maybe it would save Manglobe's creditors. But seriously they didn't help fund it so the movie's success or failure wouldn't have made a direct difference on Manglobe's situation. For all we know this movie was the last straw and costs for its production were higher than the amount they were getting to animate it. |

Not surprising with what's seemingly happened with Manglobe, but still sad, the trailers for this part looked really impressive too so hopefully the staff working on it lands on their feet after they presumably finish it with the assistance of another studio...
I agree though, delay it what it needs at this point, I hope whichever studio they hire to pick it up to finish it doesn't have to rush and do a slap dash job since this was probably my most anticipated of the three thanks to the trailers, though I'm really looking forward to all of them. If this is it for Manglobe I'm going to miss them I liked a bunch of their shows. I hope Shukou Murase gets a gig at one of the other studios, perhaps back at Sunrise or something, to keep directing and doing character designs, I love his shows/style. |
