Worick's voice sounds fine in this imo.
Can't wait to get this on BDs in the future. Also hoping that Funimation dubs Akagami.

Wow...WOW! Potter as Nic scared me so much I almost pissed myself. For a second I thought Ladd Russo was coming through the screen!
And Sinclair's voice is still fine as fire...

I feel like Nic should be just slightly less coherent. But other than that Potter sounds awesome.

I don't like dubs on principle, but this clip looks like they put a lot of effort into it. I know two deaf-mutes myself, and the way they dubbed Nick sounds very much like how a deaf-mute talks. Well done.

Ian Sinclair as Worick is great, but--at least to my ear--Brandon Potter's Nic doesn't sound as slurred and guttural as Kenjiro Tsuda's. If that's still what deaf people sound like, though, then I suppose I can't complain.
I do wish we'd gotten a scene where Alex talks. And what's with "Chadster"? In Japanese it's just "Chad-san". (Well, "Chado", but that's more pronunciation than a nickname.) I'm fine with ditching the honorifics, I just wonder why they'd throw in nicknames instead.

Nic's deaf-talk isn't bad per se, but he does kinda sound like he grew up with a hearing aid and a lot of speech coaching. It's not like in the Japanese where he has to have subtitles in his own language.

Sinclair sounds a little higher pitched than I'd prefer and Nic isn't really as distorted as he probably should be, though they got the sentiment pretty alright.

They probably added the -ster to make the syllables fit.

I wonder why they left the subtitles in Japanese.
Aside from that, I liked all of the voices.

They are contracted by the Japanese company to show it only in NA.so if you live outside NA,you're out of luck.that's just the way it is.

Alright, that was pretty good! Like others, I think Nick sounds a little too coherent, but otherwise that was spot-on. Would have liked to hear a bit of Alex's voice, though.... In any case, this should be good; Gangsta. has always struck me as the kind of show for which an English dub would really work.
