WHAT?! No way! I heard on House of 1000 Manga (or something) that the manga is nearly impossible to get because Ikeda wanted an impossible licensing fee for it! Have times changed?!

Wow! I just bought the anime (and got hit with a humongous Customs charge for importing the US DVDs - still, totally worth it!), and when this comes out I'll totally be buying it, because really I thought the chance would never come, and 'pour encourager les autres', as they say.

Yeah, that's been the going story for this series for years. Makes me wonder how much Udon ponied up for the rights… and how much Ikeda was willing to compromise. But never mind about all that, we're getting The Rose of Versailles in English and I'm still recovering from the shock of it all. Sometimes dreams do come true! |

I cannot multi-task at this moment......this so came from left field!!! Udon.......UDON......UDON Did the universe stop expanding??? I thought I would see this before I died or started collecting SS, but now I am really going to have to think up a new ungodly wish list. |

This and Legend of the Galactic Heroes are some of the best anime ever created. I just wish more people would realize that the age of these anime series is irrelevant as they are masterpieces.
