Wait, all of America? Does that mean FUNi actually plans to release the movies here, or are they just getting the rights for places where they won't ever use them, thus ruining it for everyone outside the US like always?

We will have to see what exactly Funimation has up their collective sleeves. They do have a working relationship with Universal now and they certainly know how to get films into theaters in the Americas.

Dubs and Live Action usually don't mesh well together. I doubt they'll waste their time.

Funimation/Giant Ape still usually dub their live-action movies (though a few are original language only). With Attack on Titan being as popular as it is, it probably will have a dub.
Most live-action dubs often leave the voice cast uncredited but some fans still ID a few names here and there

Question is would it be the same cast as the anime? Because that might honestly sound terrifying for some...

I prefer to watch dubs, but I agree with this. I have trouble watching anything Live-Action that's not in it's original language. Kinda strange.

People seem to forget that if Funi dubs it, there are gonna included it with the subs, so you HAVE the OPTION to choose your prefered language on your DVD/Bluray.
I dont get why people hate for Funi to give us more options for all of us.

I recall that, years earlier, I partially watched an English version of the French live-action movie Phantom of the Opera. The speech was often unintelligible, even with the subtitles on. Hence, I view dubbing and foreign live-action films to be compatible as oil and water- they just can't ever mix together.

If you're referring to me in that last sentence I never hated on Funi for giving us more options. I just don't know why people are so xenophobic (*exaggeration*) as to listen to a bunch of white guys voicing Japanese people (in live-action).

I'll be honest, I'd much rather have Funimation and Universal do their own live-action version of AoT. Double points if they can have Bryce Papenbrook, Trina Nishimura, Josh Grelle, Matt Mercer, Jessica Calvello, and the rest of the English cast reprise their roles in live action too.
