Despite the rushing towards the last 4 episodes....I enjoyed Brynhildr and i love the manga it introduce me....one of my first manga titles and still reading it...
HaHa i knew black bullet would get an english dub.....It felt rushed in parts and the middle section suffers a lot of drags and hiccups the first and last arcs were awesome to watch and the soundtrack hell o coool...2 titles for october for me..
good thing cause it;s my birthday so i can buy both at the same time

Finally some news on the NA release of Brynhildr in the Darkness and Beyond the Boundry. Sentai will finally have something that interests me, after such a long dry spell. Also dubs to boot, I am psyched.

Wow that's quite the release list, October's going to be a crazy month.
After all the recent hints I was sure Beyond the Boundry was finally getting a release announcement this month. Glad we've also got a release date for Brynhildr in the Darkness and Black Bullet, as those were both shows from last Spring.
Still I'm a little surprised that Brynhildr's getting an English dub. I don't know why exactly, but it just feels like a show that wouldn't. Then again their preference for dubbing shows has never really made that much sense anyway.

Yeah, and it's only 10 months after the "sometime in 2014" original target.

I disliked Black Bullet a lot, I dropped Beyond the Boundary after about 3 episodes in and Brynhildr doesn't interest me.
Personally I'm pretty dissapointed with these choices, but for the people that like these shows, good for you :3

Beyond the Boundary will finally be released after almost two years of wait. I am not surprised by the dub choices. I will say that Black Bullet would be a bigger deal if the ending had not been as crappy and out of character.

I only watched 1-2 episodes to judge how deserving of a dub this show is, but I think the decision to dub it was informed by Brynhildr's connection to Elfen Lied.

I'm still happy Beyond The Boundary is getting a release and dub. It had beautiful animation. I'd grab it up. Now someone needs to licence and dub HunterXHunter and my life would be perfect.

black bullet is getting a western BD release? awesome!!
i really liked that show, it is just a shame that it got quite a bit of bad publicity from youtube reviewers. hopefully if it sells well here the japanese will consider producing a second season.
this anime made me realise that there is a lot of people that cant enjoy a fast paced show. they would complain about rushing or not explaining stuff. which is fine, but for me i really enjoyed that pacing, there were a lot of stuff that had to be infered but i like it that way

Getting Brynhildr when it comes out. Fan of the author and the series while ok is fun to watch. Hopefully we'll get the fixed version and not the TV version

As they say better late than never I suppose. I am happy to hear though that both Brynhildr in the Darkness and Beyond the Boundry are getting releases. I'd buy both even if there was no dub. So having one for both is like getting 2 nice big bonuses. Now hopefully the dub and following distribution doesn't take another year lol

That was hardly the problem with BB. The writing was abysmal, but my main gripe with it was Rentarou. He's a MORON. Maybe you break out the eye that lets your see in slow motion a tad sooner? He's one of the strongest people in the city, yet he cowers behind boxes and waits for policemen to go away before doing anything? How the hell is he still POOR? He saved the city at least TWICE.
Everyone else is a freaking imbecile as well. The discrimination of the little girls is beyond stupid. Would have believed it if they DIDN'T know those girls were the only thing between them and DEATH, but it seems to be common knowledge. Maybe treat the ones saving your ass daily a little better? Tenshi was useless, and who the hell would give a nut like his bodyguard a job?
I could go on listing the writing faults... so I will.
Rentarou spearing someone who tried to kill him for no good reason got a lot of people, and his friend killed. The general was an imbecile for sending THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD STOP KAGETANE TO A SUICIDE MISSION. What the hell were they gonna do after Rentarou was dead? Oh, you tried to be a dictator during a mission, Rentarou? The hell was your plan if Kagetane hadn't shielded you? Cause you sure as hell didn't know he was gonna do that.
And lets not forget the constant Diabolux Ex Machina: the bomb just happened to malfunction, the one person who would fudge up a plan just happened to be put in charge of it. A bomb just happened to fall on the children...
