It is pretty sad when you have a actual real accident, like this one, and the insurance company says you can't be in pain. Kinda surprised there hasn't been a negative Twitter campaign against CBS and NCIS: Los Angeles for their penny pinching.

Thanks for doing an article on this. I learned about it on my Twitter the other day and felt that I should help spread the news.
Unfortunately I didn't have much to donate, but I gave what I could. I just hope that Brianne gets the help she needs and gets well soon. This is such a horrible thing to happen to such a talented person.

It is totally disheartening that the producers of NCIS: Los Angeles and the insurance company refuses to provide Brianne sufficient compensation for the severe injuries that she suffered under their watch. It goes to show that Hollywood, in a general sense, value only one thing over their employees: money.

You'd think the set would pay for her bills. What a shame that she has to have a campaign.

I gave a donation a few months ago and I'm glad to now see this has gone fully public for anyone else who wants to donate. I hope she can recover from this but I do wonder if she could ever get back to work now, the poor woman. Good to know she has a caring husband who is so dedicated to helping her through this.

This is very scary. I remember her best for her roles in series such as Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, but I specifically remember her role as Mithos in Tales of Symphonia as being one of her best works.
I wonder if she really will be able to voice act ever again. Its so disheartening when you get into accidents and then people that should pay for damages do not....

Oh my god, I had no idea this happened to her. And I don't know how I missed the earlier article about the accident. Poor Brianne. I hope that $76k goal is met as soon as possible.

Hollywood is a shell of its former self, and has been that way for years. I remember when the city was more lively and better than it is now. If you were to see it for yourself, you'd understand what I mean.

I can't express how angry this makes me. She was injured on the job and can't get sufficient worker's comp? From a well known TV show produced by one of the major networks? WTF?
I really hope that she and her husband are considering a lawsuit, because that kind of treatment is simply unacceptable. If one of the stars had been hurt, I can't imagine they'd withhold any funds towards treatment, but someone behind the scenes is just not A-list enough to be treated with basic human decency.

For Metropolis fans, she was Kenichi. I might consider helping contribute some money. I find it that with the injuries that she has went through, she should have gotten workers' comp by now.[/list]

Oh my gosh, this is just heartbreaking.
I have no way of donating but I'll do my best to get the word out there, my heart goes out to her and I hope her surgery goes well!

The way that Hollywood treats various struggling actors/actresses is so abhorrent. While producers and directors will fund and decide a project will go, often the cast's performance can be a major deciding factor on whether the project does well or flops.

It is not just Hollywood, it is all of America. The US health system is a shambles.

Absolutely true and with the Trans-Pacific Partnership looming, our health-care system is just bound to get much worse.
