Wow, quite a roster there. I might check out Heroic Legend of Arslan or maybe Seraph of the End.

The fact that FUNi is doing a broadcast dub for Yuki-chan is a bad sign that they might not bring back the original cast.

Which, if it happens to be so, has the potential to cause a HUUUUUUUGE backlash from the fans.

I've got my torch & pitchfork ready just in case. Confused

This is what I'm afraid of. well, I've got my torch/pitchfork in the closet, guess I may just have to pull them out.

Keep in mind that they have said that they will another dub for their simuldubs when it comes to the DVD/BD releases. With that, maybe they will get the original Haruhi dub cast back and the same goes for DxD in the case of Akeno and Issei.

Same here. Those are on my watch list for sure.

It feels a bit like FUNi is dubbing everything in sight lately. I'm not sure how to assuage the slight nervousness I feel from that, but at the same time I'm excited to see a lot of anime I'm interested in in this format.

Why does it matter if the English dub cast of Haruhi comes back to do Yuki-chan? It's not even a real Haruhi show, it's just some nonsense spinoff that misses the point. Granted, the Japanese cast returned, so why not? But why even get Wendee Lee or Crispin Freeman out of bed for this nonsense?

Hold on! There may still be hope, Bang Zoom is doing a broadcast dub for Aniplex USA, so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility. That said, if they aren't doing it, then they're just wasting their money and time. My hope is they're reaching out to other studios to keep the voices fresh for this season and not just Yuki.

Ironically, the one show they're *not* dubbing is Rainy Cocoa, which is odd considering that the manga was released in Japanese and English simultaneously much in the same manner as these broadcast dubs are. Confused

Not to mention it would be SUPER easy to do, considering each episode is only 2 minutes long and most of the cast members are all Dallas regulars (and Vic could record his lines from his home studio).

Is Ninja Slayer good? Honest question.

It really depends on exactly what your definition of the word "good" is.

Personally, I love it, but it's definitely NOT for everyone.

Oh boy, I'm definitely looking forward to Ninja Slayer's dub. Although I'm really enjoying it in Japanese currently, so I'm not sure if I'll watch the dub simultaneously.

I hated Ninja Slayer at first (like, a lot), but I kept watching because of the freaking awesome opening theme and ending songs that changed with each episode. Ultimately, episode four really 180'd my opinion of the show, as it was highly enjoyable for me. So I hope it keeps becoming more enjoyable for myself, and I would recommend that you check it out regardless because of the plain fact that it's something different in the realm of anime. That is, for me personally, something that I'm always looking out for with each new season. I also appreciate that Studio Trigger always seems to do whatever the f*ck they want, without caring too much about what the general public thinks. And that much I can respect.
