To bad it will probably have some of the cast for the sample dub episodes of stardust crusaders. Patrick just ain't MUDA enough unless in the Japanese he changed his vocal tone to excuse something like that.
I'll still support the streams. But is there a competent blu ray release of it in japan that Warner could probably release stateside in the future?

Question: Is Digital Downloads (Legally) can be an alternative if this wasn't release on blu-ray like Itunes (To sub or dual only). I wonder this will fight reverse importing.

There's the single volumes of season 1 with English subs. The problem is that they didn't sub Stardust Crusaders nor the three specials that recapped Parts 1 & 2.

Cool. Hopefully they take a page from Hellsing's book and have some fun with accents.

Awesome! Good thing my love of supporting Jojo in the west outweighs my dislike of DVD only.

This. I'm only interested in hearing a dub if they do it with accents. They probably won't, but here's to hoping.

Wow, that's really cheap for a two cours anime. Will definitely pick this up in my next TRSI order.

Best anime news of the day. (Was also happy to learn that PonyCan and not Funi will be releasing Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE. Those extras, you'd never see them on a Funi release these days)
Jojo's is now a buy for me.

It's possible that a BD could come later. Warner also usually doesn't release anime so they could be operating from a viewpoint that DVD is still king in other home video releases.

I'm so glad there's a dub. I wonder if they're using the same cast as the test dub for Stardust Cruisers.
It's possible Warner might do a Blu-ray release through Warner Archive, who does Blu-ray releases of some of their more niche properties (including almost anything TV animated). Keep in mind that their BD releases are traditionally pressed (just in limited quantities and sold exclusively online. They repress when they sell out), not manufacture-on-demand like their DVDs.

I came to see if people were going to keep complaining that there is no BD release and ignore the good news that the release is at least getting a dub.
I ask you this: what is more bothersome to you in physical releases of anime, a lack of a dub or a lack of BD?
