His hair is like those color change spoons you used to get in cereal, or those color change Hot Wheels cars.
In warm water, it's pink, in cold water, light blue!
Hm, maybe Goku's hair is actually a pregnancy test.

Honestly, why are they trying to make it too bloody colorful? Why can't the new SSG form be a more muscular version of the original or given simply a new hair style? Whatever they do, they should be more subtle and stop looking for an excuse to use all the colors or the rainbow for every single transformation.

Light blue? Okay, I know Toriyama is a fan of minimalism and all, but recoloring regular Super Saiyan Goku light blue seems like the worst of both worlds. It still (in theory) maintains the buff, intimidating aura of the regular Super Saiyan... but it uses the most underwhelming, non-threatening color possible. Red is a powerful-looking color. Gold is a powerful-looking color. Blue is a calming color, which just does not match with the idea of "This is Goku at his absolute most powerful" at all. It seems like a form that tries to be unsuspecting and imposing at the same time, and it doesn't really succeed at either as a result.
...Also really? Another new form? And here I thought the early press claims that "Goku will not become a Super Saiyan at any point in this movie" did in fact mean that "Goku will not become a Super Saiyan at any point in this movie". You can throw a bunch of extra words to it if you like, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still a new Super Saiyan form.

I won't be surprised if the next movie after F will feature Goku in Super Saiyan Rainbow colors

"Super Saiyan Mode: Rainbow Edition."
I suspect that on the next show, Goku will have his hair in a new color whenever he transforms.

Knowing that this form is just the Super Saiyan form of Super Saiyan God (yeah, thank about that one for a minute xD) I'm actually not too bothered by it anymore.
However, I am still a bit taken back by how in the world Freeza would get such a boost that it would require Goku to need to get that powerful. Like anywhere near that powerful...

I'm guessing the idea is that it was inaccurate to call it SUPER Saiyan God in the first place. It was never another transformation-stage in the same way SSJ1-3 were. Goku has essentially ascended into godhood and become a new being altogether. SSJG is his new "normal" state, which means it is probably more accurate to just call him a Saiyan God. Now he is achieving his FIRST transformation as a god, the same way SSJ is the first advanced transformation for a "mortal" saiyan.
I actually think this makes a great deal of sense, though I'm not crazy about just restarting the transformation arms race that show had going on. The reason I liked SSJG so much was because it actually toned DOWN the crazy designs a bit.

Definitely among the minority in that I actually like the way both Goku and Freeza look in their new transformations. At the very least, blue-haired Goku looks much cooler than Super Saiyan God red-hair did. Looking forward to seeing this in the theaters here in Japan next Sunday.

I dig them too. Mostly because they don't look stupid.
