Seven Deadly Sins was a wildly entertaining series last season. These high TV ratings pretty much ensure that we'll get a sequel but probably not for one or two more years until the manga can get close to the end of the current arc.

Nope ratings don't matter much for anime it's merchandise sales for daytime anime and disc sales for late night.
Does anyone know if seven deadly sins merch is selling in Japan?

Amiami throws out 18 pages of results, plenty of which show up as Sold out

If the rumor Netflix had the license to it is true, we shouldn't have to wait long.
The original Knights of Sidonia series ended on June 27, 2014, and Netflix made the entire series available (complete with dub) on July 4, 2014.

Did anything changed that made it good?
Honest question.

I couldn't see them doing it this week with both nary a peep about the show, and Netflix pretty much being "All hands on deck" with Daredevil. Next week?

I would say if we don't see The Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix by the end of the month, we can put the rumor about them having licensed it to rest.
As for not publicizing it, they've been considerably lower key about having the second Knights of Sidonia series, but at least the info on them having it didn't come from an outside source (as it did with Sins).

That's a shame because there was a lot of interest.
As for Netflix, there is a massive TV in Manhattan outside Penn Station that advertises new Netflix shows, pretty much since Season 2 of Orange Is the New Black. What I wouldn't have given for a Seven Deadly Sins ad on that thing.
