Johnny Yong Bosch playing Izaya huh? I'm definitely going to check this out when it starts airing and see how it compares. Surprised this was announced.

Personally, I prefer it, which is weird, since I watched the sub first, the bg characters in the first season weren't cringe worthy like it was in the sub (plus most character voices just fit better(i'm looking at you Masaomi!!))

He was Izaya in the first season too if you didn't know.
I'm glad they're both reprising their roles. I love them both

welp just like the first season I'll never be able to buy it, idk about the rest of you guys but I would Never drop more then 120 dollars for three series sets no way in hell will I drop that for just one and a cheap ass lunch box oh wait that was the first one

When I saw the thumbnail for this I was wondering why the hell Crispin Freeman was sitting next to Doug Benson and then when I watched it I saw it was Johnny Yong Bosch and it kinda blew my mind. Glad to see I'm not the only who noticed how similar they look.
All that said I can't wait for this. I love the first season and found the dub to be just as good if not better in some ways to the original. While there are bound to be a few characters that will always sound better in the subs I think they did a damn good job with the first season. I hope it will be as fun as the first one was.

I feel for you Americans... The UK release is only 40-50 euro total. Which is rougly around 70 dollars lol.
Kinda surprised the dub is already airing next week :O.

Awesome, Durarara was one of my favorite dubs, personally, so it's good to see the cast returning for season 2.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before Aniplex started doing its own broadcast dubs. They were already getting the dubs done rather quickly, and even managed to get SAO 2 on Toonami extremely quickly. With Funimation pushing the broadcast dubs pretty hard this season, it makes sense that AoA would be motivated to do the same. This is also a good show to go with since the dub made it onto adult swim a while back, so there is going to be plenty of interest (myself included.)
