Wow, this is very unexpected and cool to hear, an anime from the 80's to be shown, and I assume it'll come out on DVD and Blu-ray in the US.

I wonder if anyone will stream the rest of the original Yatterman anime. I REALLY want to watch the whole show...

Best not to assume yet, since they didn't actually announce anything beyond streaming plans. Of course, if it does well they'll likely to at least consider a DVD release. |

I would see this being more of a Discotek title. |

Seeing this broadcasted on The Anime Network, it's very likely Sentai/Section23 could release this on DVD/blu-ray. Hopefully.
Yeah, I know this is what I find surprising about this anime title. |

This is incorrect, The Anime Network is streaming this Subtitled, not Dubbed. http://www.theanimenetwork.com/Anime/Urashiman/Watch |

I wonder how how well this might sell for them.

Wow, this old school love.
I think I may seen an episode or two years ago. It's certainly interesting to see something like this. |

People will finally get a chance to see one of the greatest 80's anime that somehow never made it over here.

The show sounds interesting, but if you have to have a subscription to watch than most people won't have access. Maybe they'll release it on Hulu or Amazon Prime?

To my knowledge, I think most Anime Network stuff is just hosted on Hulu anyway. |
