It'll be interesting to see if Aniplex even bothers dubbing this season. The first season didn't sell as well for them as they had hoped, and seeing as how this season is actually three cour or around 36-39 episodes, AND the fact that season one had an expensive union dub....

This expected license announcement seems quick with more than a month before the Durarara!!x2 premieres.
I hope the second season is at least as good as the first one, that Aniplex USA dubs it and offers BD's, and, if possible, we see the first home video release before 2015 ends.

See, I wish Aniplex was doing the same thing Funimation was doing with the Dubbing While Airing thing. This would be the perfect title to start out with.
I adored DRRR's dub, and I cannot wait to see more of this show.

Yeah; that would be a neat idea. But I doubt Aniplex USA has the resources (both financial and staff wise) to do a simuldub.

The dubbed release for the 3rd part wouldn't likely be until early 2017 at the earliest.

Considering they're selling plastic discs at gold prices they should have enough money to do a decent dub or pay someone to do a decent dub.

Great license, but I disagree a little. I hope for a nice deluxe bilingual (English and Japanese) BD release Asking for a sub-only release indicates to me that you are not a fan of English dubs.

Aniplex Japan should have enough money, but I am under the impression that Aniplex USA operates with a small budget. Plus I have also heard that AoA only has a few employees. I imagine a simuldub would be hard to do under those circumstances. Funimation probably is able to simuldubs because they can commit a bigger budget and have a larger staff to handle what must be complicated logistics.

Here's hoping they don't overprice it.

i really hope they'll bring the old english dub cast back for this one. And those clear case dvd sets like they had for season 1.
