So am I right in thinking it's just going to quote concise positions on the issue then just do the usual VN thing regardless?

For some reason I find this hilarious. Of course the Ojou/Yamato Nadeshiko with the Watakushi pronoun would be all about NIPPON BANZAI too! 
There are actually anime that are starting to integrate this political theme into their framework though a little less....bluntly. The Wind Rises is probably the most obvious one with a guy that wants to design a flight craft for hobby but that the government only has interests in weaponizing and he ends up building what will eventually become the Zero. G-Reco is incorporating it too though which I think a lot of people fail to realize with the whole Capital Guard->Capital Army situation and taboos on awakening the warring instincts and militarization of the past.

You know, I find it odd how the Revisionist is dressed more conservative whilst the Conservative looks quite liberal. And I highly doubt Ann Coulter would ever wear striped panties.

That's because in this context "conservative" refers to those who want to keep Japan's peacenik constitution the way it is. Calling them "conservative" may be technically correct, but it's a wonky translation. The revisionists are the ones on the political right, the conservatives on the left.

How about they take on the anti-censorship law? Seems more pertinent to a "have sex with/look at these girls" games.

Guess anything to spur debates on a very important and relevant issue on the future course of Japan amongst politically apathetic electorate, but hate to think how serious this could devolve the issue if this what it comes down to them.

First time I seen a bishoujo game taking on Japan's politic, I agreed with walw6pK4Alo, make one that involve battling Japan's anti-censorship issue.

I want a game that takes on elder rule, which is the source of most of Japan's problems. A strategy game would suffice.

The term "real feminist" is a loaded statement because there's no such thing. Feminism has so many branches and views that a sex-positive feminist is just as valid as a male-hating feminist. It depends on which branch you subscribe to. No doubt some branches will like this character and others won't, generally depending on their own views.
