Looking at the two trailers, one show CGI mecha, the other hand-drawn. The hand-drawn looks much better. The CGI doesn't blend at all. It looks great for CG, but it's jarring next to the hand-drawn characters.
It's sort of like Vandread in that it looks like two shows mashed together, kind of like the look of a video game..
It's great to get more Votoms (it's like a revival of classic mecha titles this year with new Gundam, Macross, and now Votoms ), but while the action looks good, and the character animation looks great, the CGI doesn't appear to blend in any way, shape or form. Hopefully, they'll at least put it to good use....

Honestly, I'm just happy to have new Votoms, period. It's been how many years since the last installment? Anyway, the CG looks kind of bland, but at least it animates smoothly. They can further detail it as time progresses. Right now, it's nice to have something with which to start. Better than something that looks less than promising, right?

I find it kind of hillarious that the second PV uses the same music as the Pirates of the Caribbean III trailer.

I suppose you're right, GospelX. Still, it's kind of discouraging.
As for the music, it's trailer music. It's not just for PotC.
