Sounds like it was good natured glad he didn't have any extreme issues. But like a poster above says it sounded like the bike was the issue. But hey, if making people happy makes him happy, then I say go for it.

Chibatman lol Chi is also the sound of bat "chichichichi". The name fits Chiba and Chi. Cool stuff but he needs to upgrade his bike.
