Yay us!
I'm staffing, so I hope I don't have to work during that time. Well, I'm sure many other staffers will feel the same, so chances are slim. Unless I get to work this event...

wow. Aya Hirano huh. She has a really great singing voice. I like that she doesn't sound like the super sugary pop that most Japanese music is, and when she does do it, she's five times faster than most of it (Lucky Star opening anyone). I imagine the first few rows of that concert will be filled with Haruhi otaku direct from Japan..and can you imagine the GIANT danceoff that would be happening at that concert? Think I'll just wait for the videos to crop up on YouTube though..too poor and a little too scared to actually go.

Oh snap....my vol.1 just shipped today and it's using snail mail. and I have to fly out of the country on May 29 and I won't be back until AX which I am going straight to - that means I won't be able to get my hands on my DVD for them to sign! OTL...gotta find a way so I'll be able to collect it in california...
LOL SoloButterfly watch me be one of those in the front row joining the dance-off (unless I am up on the stage with her *ahem* j/k)

Until today I have held that I would never want to attend an anime convention solely based on one of its musical acts.
So much for that tenet.
Now if only I could afford the plane ticket. -_-;

There will be someone, somewhere that will post a video. Legit or not.
Hopefully it won't be a camera phone. Hopefully it will be a sponsored Con video that will have decent sound and picture.

Don't forget it's easier for Japanese quest to make the trip to the West Coast as compared to the East Coast. Also to quote Zac from the AWO podcast "AX is an industry driven con, and the Otakon is for the fans".
