Pretty pumped for this, not going to lie. The character designs for Maka and Soul look off, but everyone else looks pretty good in this art style. The music sounds pretty good as well. Plus despite their being different designers, the DWMA is still awesome looking. Can't wait for it to start!

Maka's plainness counter-intuitively made her stand out in the original, so I don't think I like her being adorable.

Soul Eater NOT, is another manga, but the same person. It's drawn in the cute style. It's shojo manga, about cute girls, doing cute things. It's NOT a shonen with a lot of action

About cute girls, doing cute things and so some fans won't like it drrrrrrrrrrr it's called a opinion maybe some of us don't like cute things and what more real Soul Eater

Because this is the sort of person I am, I'd like to point out the pun in the main character's name.
Harudori -> Hal-tori -> Hal-bird -> Halberd. So her name is halberd.
The sword guy's name is Clay, which I don't think needs to be explained.
Anyway, the weapon theme naming from the main series continues.

You know when BONES adapted the first series they kinda changed the art from the manga a bit. This is more in line with the manga and especially the NOT manga.
