YAAAYY!! Ringing Bell got announced for a release date! I've never gotten to see that in sub, so I am quite excited! I hope they get Fairy Florence (A Journey Through Fairyland) too, get all the Sanrio! I think I used to have a VHS of that.
As for the topic of School Days... I'm familiar with its reputation, but I don't know yet if it's a show that's so bad it's fun or anything. Because I can go for so bad it's fun, but not for pure torture. Still, I hope it sells well for them! I don't think this is a sign of them going stupid on licensing, they clearly knew licensing it would get them attention, possibly some infamy, but they also got GTO first, thus proving they have brain cells for quality. I'm guessing they licensed it for the same reasons as Mad Bull 34, they knew it was terrible, and Mad Bull 34 was infamous and people were crying out for a DVD release (hell, I bought it). Woot for the DNA2 release date!
I'm getting a little worried for that Dr. Slump movie box though...they haven't said a thing about it since they announced licensing them. Heck, I think they got those before they rescued DNA2, and that's already on it's way out. Granted that requires less effort I would imagine as they just have to have the materials and slap them on a disc (unless they're doing a new set of subs or something), whereas Slump is from the ground up subtitle wise...but still. :/ |

More like those pretending they aren't insta-buying don't have the sack to admit they LOVE School Days. Eh, just slip the disks into your Magical Girl Whatever set and nobody will be the wiser.
