I bought, imported, or pirated these soundtracks years ago. Way too late Ghibli and iTunes. Besides, iTunes' prices are extremely unfair.

I would never buy a full album off itunes but to say their prices are unfair is still a little unfair in itself- as from iTunes it would probably cost about $16.99 in Australia at least, and to import the CDs from Japan you're looking at $25-$30 plus or including shipping depending on where you buy from...
(Though I've already been getting them physically so I'll stick with that)

A local anime retailer sold off the remainder of their CD stock a few years ago and I picked up a few Ghibli soundtracks (and orchestral arrangements of Mononoke Hime and Laputa) either through them at reduced prices or CD Japan. The artwork on the CD covers is wonderful also.

I got the titles I liked years ago back when you DID have to import them--But, it'd be nice to have them on iTunes just for emergencies.
Now, if they could just get a few more actual licensed anime-theme collections on their catalog, instead of those crappy soundalike-company quickies.
(It's hard enough just trying to hunt down Hatsune Miku singles.)

Yeah, I'm ready for a space dandy soundtrack to come out.
