The first two episodes, anyway, though more will sure follow. I suppose this sort of sets a new bar as to what can be considered ok at Youtube, because unless I'm missing something this is the first major 'redub parody' which has started to go under.
LittleKuriboh's (completely live-action) response video was pretty funny, though. Now that's a voice actor.

Many figured this sort of censorship would happen with the Google aquisition; I myself made complaints that the stifiling of MADs and AMVs lessen the internet buzz for even the most popular of shows. [Also], one cannot say The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's notoriety was not greatly boosted by YouTube.
In my eyes, the only way to prevent more of the sort is for "legal copyright holders" to publically turn a blind eye to the parodies and tributes. Id est, if something were to happen to the Haruhi related material, people should petition to YouTube by noting that "Kyon" on the MySpace blog acknowledges the existence and even eggs people toward looking at certain entries while not explicity denouncing their existence. By this (weak) argument, perhaps, the survival rate of fan-made stuff might increase as YouTube continues to crack-down on dubiously legal material.

So, where are we supposed to get the rest of Yugioh Abridged now? They can't get rid of it. It's too genius to be. It's even better than the actual Yugioh itself. There's no reason to go on living anymore.

That reminds me of the time when YouTube banned Naztradamix (head of My Way Entertainment and creator of The Juggernaut Bitch) and removed all his videos like probably the Street Fighter fandub. I sure miss My Way Entertainment. I hope they put out a site, soon.
What's also worst than Naztradamix getting banned is Viacom snitching on user who upload music videos by artists. YouTube is now just not the same for me anymore.

Awww, I was waiting for the new episode too.
This is sad, first seiryurenaih's inuyasha's parodies, and now LittleKuriboh's. Although it is a copyright violation, it's not something like fansubs.
I hope Little Kuriboh can find another site to host as I'm going to miss them so greatly.

They don't seem to know that it's Fair Use-Parody. It's obviously a parody, and it's not making any money off the original works nor is it competing with the original work. In fact, it serves to promote the anime, but I guess 4Kids has its head too far up its behind to care.
EDIT: I just realized, it'd piss me off if they also removed the OVER 9000 videos (including "The Balls Are Inert", "I Hope My Body Can Take It", and "The Whole Universe Is Going To Die") as well. Those have done more to resurge the interest in DBZ than anything in the past year (including the new "remastered" DBZ DVDs and any marketing for said DVDs).

The central dilemma to this "fairness" and use of infringing content is, that it's simply not legal, nor does the host have any licensing rights towards the original content. I don't understand why this sort of restriction and regulation is suddenly new to those who are generally associated with fan dubs, since fan dubs are no more legal than bootlegs, or fan made AMVs. Aside from this obvious standard, YouTube has received various complaints from organizations such as, FUNimation, and JASRAC, due to its copyright infringement, and use of utilization when uploading informal content.
So whether "4Kids has its head too far up its behind;" direct your meaningless comments to the providers themselves, since they seem to lack liability when it comes to simply providing quality video clips.

So you're pretty much denying that this is a parody? Are you claiming that this is taking away hard-earned money from 4Kids? Parody has always been the safe haven of people who are deathly afraid of copyright law, and I hope it shall remain that way. It's this kind of alarmist garbage that is stifling much of today's young people's talent. Yes, it's based on someone else's work, but it's something else now altogether. Spaceballs wouldn't have been made in the first place if people back in the 80s were as uptight then as they are now (I can't believe I'm saying that). I implore you to convince me and the more than a million viewers of the Yugioh Abridged series that this is not a parody.
Meaningless comment? Maybe there's more truth to that than meets the eye. 4Kids has always shunned the fan scene, ignoring their pleas, wilfully pandering to their demographic all just for the almighty dollar. See their treatment of One Piece, and more recently, their Pokemon property.

YouTube also removed a video that tricked Code Geass fans into thinking it was episode 15 fansubbed. Apparently, it's possible to make a company lose money by uploading a video of Vegeta saying "It's over 9000!" repeatedly for ten minutes. That was an awesome prank, too.
I know Google is afraid of lawsuits, but for crying out loud, unless some idiot actually tells official bands or anime companies that anime music videos take away their money, AMV's are not gonna lead to lawsuits. What really annoys me is the fact that ANYONE can report ANY video as copyright infringement, and Google/YouTube will remove it immediately. A video of someone singing the first Code Geass opening was removed for copyright infringement.

This is the first instance i've seen of anyone trying to link Haruhism with AMV's. I've asked other folks, i've read the message board postings, i've looked, and not one person has mentioned AMV's as the major cause of Haruhism. All have pretty much given direct or indirect credit to fansubs.
I don't know if your trying to make a falsefied claim or just just thinking that out of pure wanderlust, but get off your high horse and prove it. Because i'm doubtful people would get into Haruhism via AMV's when they can get the fansub episodes much quicker and understand the SOS Brigade.

I don't know whats more pitiful; your use of a 4chan meme to prove your point; or your trying to legitimize AMV's as the root cause as to why DBZ has gained a resurgence of fans.
Here's a little newsflash: You got the fans that were kids back then that have grown up and have oddles of disposeable income to plunk down monies on DVD's, and the Narutards and Bleachers who "migrate" to DBZ purely out of curiosity. Let's not also forget that FUnimation still agressively touts DBZ thru many of it's DVD's as either trailers or their Z-Store adversements.

Excuse me? Pitiful? My argument has every bit of merit as anyone's does. I'd like you to prove to me that the OVER 9000 videos have taken away money from Funimation. Memes are what they are because they are organic things that spread and become common jokes on the internet. Just because they're from 4Chan doesn't mean it's any less credible. If I were a Funimation exec, and there's an internet joke whose root is DBZ, I would be delighted to have that kind of exposure and I'd consider that free marketing. Just like how All Your Base cause a surge in the number of resales (or illegal internet downoads) of the Sega Genesis cart Zero Wing.
Also, maybe you should think twice before using language that would anger some people. "Pitiful" is in a group of words that is considered "not nice" under most circumstances.
