Not really surprised. Octopus Girl has fugly covers, and Museum of Terror has no hype. DH really needs to be less random in its licenses.

Octopus Girl is actually pretty hilarious, and the covers (I think) are well-designed to appeal to the people who will actually like the series, which is easily one of the weirdest things I've ever read.

Heh... to be honest, if I hadn't read Carlos' review of v3 of Octopus Girl in RTO!, I wouldn't have even touched it due to the covers... on the other hand, I bought v1 of it a few weeks ago and loved its mix of gross horror and comedy, so it rather makes me sad that it's being postponed indefinitely Oh well, guess I'll have to pick up v2-3 sometime and hope that Dark Horse starts releasing them again.

Man Dark Horse is so slow. They haven't even finished translating the stuff that they released from their acquisitions. But they'll release their big sellers like the "wind'. What's the story with 'Shadow Star'. I know it's not one of their greatest sellers which is the reason it's at the bottom of the bag. But hell, if you got people buying and reading the title; even if it's a small percentage you don't keep them waiting for years just to finish a series. That causes consumers to lose interest and look elsewhere. Thus adding more reason for a company to eventually cancel the project altogether.
C'mon Dark Horse, we go way back! I had much respect for you! Let's get the show on the road!

Last I heard, they had no intention of releasing any more >_> ; though, that is from an unofficial source (post on a forum thread somewhere about Shadow Star where the poster in question supposedly asked a Dark Horse employee), so take it with a grain of salt. If they start releasing any more, I'll certainly be happy about it.
