Not gonna lie, Mega Charizard and Mega Blastoise look dumb, while Mega Venusaur's changes are so minuscule I could hardly tell what was altered.
Still got love for faaaaabulous Mega Ampharos, though. |

This is a twist that I didn't expect to occur at all.
So now you'll be starting your adventure with two starter Pokemon, with the other starter being a Pokemon from Kanto? This makes X and Y all the more interesting.

Oh my GOD!
Soooooooooooooooo excited right now ohmyfreakinggod! Granted, I totally now have to re-think what I'm gonna get 'cause NOW- well, I was gonna get Fennekin but now I want Charmander too but I can't have two Fire type and maybe I want Bulbasaur or hell even Squirtle but Froakie is kinda cool too and oh my god I cannot make up my mind... This is an absolute blessing because I love the original starters! But it's also a curse now too because- Guh! Don't know what I'm gonna do now! Still, this just made my day. Easily. Edit: Let me also add that... while I can't say I liked these 'mega forms' too much. Or hell, the very idea (I loathed it). These 3 actually look awesome! Granted, I needed a double take for Venusaur because at first I didn't see any changes... still, I think these are the best 'mega' anythings we've seen so far. |
