I prefer the manga over the anime. Usually the manga is a bit more fluent and concise. Especially for shonen titles. No battles dragged out over 6 episodes so I can flip through maybe 14 or so pages and have the stroy laid out and progressing smoothly.

I would rather watch the anime even though the manga do not have any nasty filler and is usually better then the anime. But I am a American who do not like to read thus that why I perfer watching the anime. Note: that crack that Americans do not like to read was a joke.

Usually, I'll watch the anime first. And most of the time the anime I watch has a cliffhanger ending, so I just pick up the manga if ever it's available.
But rarely though,I pick up the manga for fun...I play eenie miney moe and pick up whatever I pointed to. And sometimes, I end up getting the manga first, like what my friend gave me, the Pastel manga volume 2...(which I gave to another guy friend after I skimmed the thing) |

Usually I watch the Anime first and if I really like it, I buy the Manga,OST's,and related merchindise.
I wish they would release the games some of the Anime are based on to the American(or other) countries, too. |
