New Fruits Basket Anime?

The old Fruits Basket anime was made before the manga was even halfway done so the ending was crap and felt like it finished 20 episodes too early.

My question is though, with the manga about to end, is there a chance of a new anime that will tell the full story of the Sohma clan?

Fruits Basket is one of the most popular manga around!

These cranes were then sent to Japan as a form of petition for the production of a second season. At the beginning of 2006, however, Natsuki Takaya and Daichi Akitaro announced in two separate interviews that there will not be any more work on the anime for a number of reasons.

The manga is finished, and the anime was finished in a way that they really can't make a second season to tie it to the first.
