Same here. I enjoyed Nekomonogatari White a lot and thought it was very well done. I am eager to see Kabukimonogatari, and I hope it is as good as the first arc.

I hope each arc isn't followed by a useless recap. I understand recaps when you're a newish studio and run into issues, but SHAFT is now established and monied. They have no excuse.

I'm really looking forward to this arc, since Shinobu and Mayoi are two of my favorite Monogatari characters (along with Tsukihi and Hitagi.)

Starts airing tonight! Kinda excited. =)
What's funny with the airing schedule is that it's at 12AM on TV Tokyo and at 12:30AM on TeleTama. You can watch it twice!  Perfect for when I accidentally miss the beginning or something.

I agree, especially since they recaped Nekemono Black AFTER Nekomono white, that's just stupid. Plus Black is only 4 episodes, it's too short to even need a recap. |
