I know they are different mediums, but since the Dragon Crown review and game came out this week, just as a general thought, where is the outcry of objectification of women over shows like this, or Queen's Blade, or frankly any number of anime.

I mean a video game has one "questionable" aspect but is otherwise a great game gets quite a bit of criticism; on the other shows like this and queen's blade have no redeeming features, its literally a show about eye candy and putting women into questionable costume and having them fight or some other activity, but usually with little to no overall plot or anything really.

And for the record if they were going to make a show about women's wrestling El Pactio is a much much better show.

There was maybe 10 seconds of animation in that 90 second trailer. Pathetic.

Sometimes, you don't even need to point it out. It pummels your face like a pair of loosely-clad, sweaty breasts, so why bother erecting the issue?

My thoughts exactly.
She was pinned on the floor, exact same pose for 10 seconds, then she changes pose, stays like that for 10 seconds....man. I hope the anime isn't like that.

I'd rather have a new Kinnikuman anime.

Good, I wasn't the only one hung up on that.

I like wrestling, and I like ladies fighting in skintight outfits, but yeah, some actual animation would be nice. The boobies in the camera are a nice distraction, but they can only hide so much.

Confirmed for never having seen Queen's Blade.

Makes me wonder why they choose that scene of all things to be the first animation preview.

The trailer didn't reveal much, but judging from Sakura's stress-induced dialogue, I think this show is going to be seriously bursting with intense action. This is a show that I'll be enjoying for sure should it appear in the U.S.

The Japanese have a very specific term for this sort of fetish, I believe it's リョナ. This show seems specifically built around hitting that particular sub-culture.
