I like the differing visuals. I'm looking forward to seeing (and owning) this.

Though all four shorts look interesting, Buki yo Saraba definitely looks very intriguing and is the one that I'd like to see the most. From the few clips of Buki shown in the promo, the battle suits and mecha caught my eye, as did the colour pallet used (lighter colours).

While everyone's getting their panties all in a bunch about swimming anime and Monogatari this summer I'm just looking forward to this with brimming anticipation. I just love omnibus projects like this, especially ones that look hand drawn in this day and age and especially from some historical and new creators and production by my favorite studio.

One of the blurbs in the trailer says "To the adults who have lost 'anime'."

To which I say, "Oh yeah! Bring this on now!"

Actually, the manga of "A Farewell to Arms" was published in English along with a few other Otomo shorts a looooooong time ago. I believe it was under Marvel's Epic imprint back when they were first bringing out Akira. Like Akira, it was computer colored at the time, IIRC. But yeah, "A Farewell to Arms" and the new Otomo original are the ones I'm looking forward to most.

Seeing the trailer does bring one question back to mind for me, though: When oh when oh when are they going to make a movie out of Otomo's "Domu"?

REALLY hope the distributor puts English subs on the eventual BD release. I'd happily import this.

I so want this to get a US release, considering we never saw a region 1 release of Genius Party. Plus, this omnibus boasts an impressive staff.

They don't do these Robot Carnival-type stuff much anymore.
