Please name your top 5 animes since last year until now. Also on a side note what do you guys think of Basilisk im at eps one now and think that there is potential.

Monster is the only one I have seen since last year I haven't seen to many new animes this past year. The reason why Monster is so great to me lies with the character development and story it is so deep and interesting better than almost any anime i have seen.

I freakin love Monster. I read the manga, but i've never seen the anime. The reasons you said are good too. Well i have a Top 5 but it's annoying to list all the reasons i'll Edit my post later and tell you. |

I think the moderators on this site really need to learn some social skills. If I were new to anime I certainly would stop using this site with the repeated snarkiness of the mods.
Instead of snapping at the guy for not listing his top five, why don't you bother to take into consideration maybe he's looking for other people's opinions before snapping at him. Funny thing is, from the look of his second post that's exactly what he was looking for. Needless to say, go ahead, ban me. I'm all for pleasant forums as much as the next person but your enthusiasm for order and your inability to state your requests in a polite way is a bit too much. |

Well consider their feelings when they have to deal with people who don't want to take the time to read the rules that are explicitly stated and at least talk with good grammar and spelling. These mods have to go through a lot of crap, and I'm sure they don't have a lot of good days. How do normally act when you're all stressed out and stuff? I'm sure you don't feel like talking nice to people too. I know when I'm not in a good mood I'll act like an ass. Try to consider their feelings too. |

Exactly, thank you. Nevermind the fact that the subject of the thread as stated by its original poster was "name your favourite new shows," not "recommend me stuff." If he wanted recommendations, he could say so and there'd be no problem. But the topic he gave was the sort of opinion topic that requires the original poster to give their own opinion at the same time that they ask for others' in order to curb lazy posting and spam. If you don't want us moderators to be snarky, cynical bastards to people because they break the rules, then why not help out by getting more people to follow the rules? Then there'd be less crap to put up with whenever we log on and we'd be in a better mood when dealing with the few infractions that remain. But by making an ass of yourself, Chibi-Hikaru, all you're doing is making my job and Tony's job and the rest of the staff's job just that much harder, and making sure we're in an even fouler and more cynical mood the next time. You're not fixing things by pulling your little soapbox act for the obnoxious, rule breaking little guy, so can it. Anyway, this thread's gone way out of control, so I'm locking it. |
