Its kind of sad that Shinji's life was ruined simply because he never bought his dad a Schick Razor for Christmas. How many people would have survived if Gendo had gotten the crisp clean shave that he always wanted but his generic razor left him angry and he took that anger out on Shinji and Shinji just wasnt hot blooded enough to save everyone.

LOL, Gendo smiling ahaha. I find this funny since I just finished watching 3.33 and the whole dark tone of the movie....and then this shit xD

It turns out his beard was an Angel that was keeping him a douchebag, but when shaved off, he's a pleasant person.

I think this ad campaign is extremely weird. Gendo tells Shinji that he's going to shave his beard. This is one of the darkest,gloomiest anime I've ever seen and for some reason,the Japanese seem to put the characters on everything from baby clothing to razors. Can you imagine if Gainax attempted to get the "EVA" characters to do an American tv commercial? Somehow,I can't imagine them doing that but I've got the feeling they'll try it,just to add more exposure to this in the United States.
