That was pretty cool. You get to see Yuuko being drawn near the end, which is always a plus.

That was realllyy cool! And since I can't attend AX (and I've never seen them in person before) This was most definatly a treat beyond compare. It's cool how they do everything in layers lke that.

Quite interesting if you ask me. I've always wondered how they operate (not an obsession or anything...I just wondered.) And I had no idea that Mokona actually wore a kimono while working.

That was so neat! I wish I knew what they were saying but too cool. I want to wear a kimono to work althought it would look quite weird on a 25 year old fat white girl. Maybe I'll just stick to my maid costume. Hahaha!
All joking aside, I wish I had the money to go to Cailfornia, I would love to see them in person. |

It might just be for show. That is one helluva nice studio, though. They're definitely rolling in the dough. |

That was awesome. I've always wanted to see a manga-ka's studio since I draw a lot of doujinshi, myself, and this was a great chance to see how it's done. I've always liked how they worked as a group and split the jobs between one another.

Very cool! From what I understand, CLAMP's always been kind of private, so the tour of the studio and the NA appearance are pleasant surprises. I'm actually going to AX this weekend, and I'm thrilled beyond belief that I get to see CLAMP in the flesh! I hope I get picked to go to one of their autograph sessions ^___^

I won't get to see them at all.
Oh well. At least I got an inner glimspe at how they do what they do. I guess CLAMP's coming out of their shell, if only a little bit. And they look kinda young for their 40+ years. |

That is a very neat video clip!
I was a little supprised to see no assistant in the office because normally manga-ka and animators do. First, I thought they might introduce the assistants later, but at the end of the clip, the narrator says they don't have any. That's probably why their art is always pretty and consistent. |

not really a new clip. the whole show has been out since...january(oops, it was july of 2005). it was around a 45 minute show, but it's nice to see the hype. the rest of the show was a lengthy interview.
for a more recent interview http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/culture/200605/kt2006052816582911700.htm the korea times has an english article about their time at SICAF from a few weeks ago. Last edited by seichan80 on Wed Jun 28, 2006 5:10 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I think its funny how there is a big fat youtube.com right there in the corner
Also I thought they were pretty private, it seems they are becomeing more and more public now. Anyone know the reason for this? Or are they just getting less afraid of raving Otaku? EDIT: Hey it didn't filter, what the hell is going on |

Yup it was cool. Too bad I didn't understand much about what they were talking about but it must of been about how successful they were.

I find it funny how the video is hosted on Youtube after all the drama about it in an earlier thread...

With all the money they're making you would think that they're work stations would be bigger.
