I was hoping for Jun Fukuyama for the Ant King personally, but this is a pretty good alternative. Rest of the cast looks solid so I can't wait for the arc to start.

Wow, Uchiyama Kouki as the King? That's going to be interesting. I mean, I love him as a seiyuu, but I've always considered him as master of the angsty teenager...Actually, it might be surprisingly fitting...Excited to hear it.
Also, Morau's seiyuu doesn't seem to be included in ANN's translated cast list for some reason? I can see him with a seiyuu listed on the image, but the name's too small to read... |

If you are Leorio, sure. Otherwise, I think you need to re-read the best arc of the series -- and not reading it from terrible scanlations, as I'm sure you did originally. |

I hope they can do some fast pacing, otherwise its going to take like 2+ years to fully air it, that shit is so long.

Always heard good things about the Chimera Ant arc; I recall many saying it's the best arc without a doubt in HxH, and one went so far as to say it's the best arc out of all the manga he has read.
Can't wait to see it animated. |

I've never read the HxH manga, I have no idea what this arc is about, but I love the show and all the hype has me excited about it, hope it doesn't disappoint.

The arc only felt long because of how many hiatuses Togashi took. If Madhouse isn't worried about catching up with the manga (and at this point I don't think Togashi's coming out hiatus anytime soon) they could animate the entire arc in under a year's worth of episodes if they wanted to. |

Hmm, I'm not sure I'd want them to go that fast...I feel like it deserves at least a full year's worth of episodes. (And then of course, the Election arc could probably be done in a single cour or even less.) |

No i didn't have to wait for the hiatuses, i just recently read the manga all the way through a couple months ago. But its still has over twice as many chapters as the greed island arc, which was long itself. |

Looks like some very solid choices for casting.
Seriously hyped for this arc. Loved it in the manga, and I'm sure all HxH fans have waited a very long time to see this animated. I just hope that they don't censor this arc too much, as it's rather graphic in some cases. Also, for people worrying about catching up to the manga, well, this arc alone is going to take 12 months minimum to air properly, maybe more depending on pacing. After that, you have the Election arc, which could be about 13 episodes. So you're looking at maybe 18 months worth of material before they reach the current manga point. I'd like to think the manga will have resumed during then! |
