How about an anime Toei?

I'll assume they're waiting for more material, in addition to after the Sailor Moon remake since they're a bit stuffed with magical girl stuff currently.

But I'd still like to see these things animated.

Sailor Moon... Ahahaha. Really, what happened to that?

Anyway, I am wishing for an anime of this. REALLY BADLY.

I'm not sure if it's possible for a Ojamajo Doremi 16 anime series, since Toei Animation/Asahi Broadcasting holds the basic copyright and they don't want anything to interfere with the moneymaking Pretty Cure franchise.

Now, it could be done as a late-night anime, but given the tiny audience for late-night anime, it may not be worth the effort.

That really sucks because Doremi is a way better franchise imho, than Pretty Cure. They just need to market it for an older demographic.

I guess they're a little late to be aiming a Doremi high-school series at the same audience who watched the original anime?

I'd love to see it, though. Doremi's turned in a lot of good drama for a kids' series and the voice-acting was great. It was really interesting how the magic world clearly has adult-level politics going on even if the child protagonists never see much of it and understand less.
